His current clinical and research interests include
- Complex and revisional bariatric surgery, bariatric surgery in peri-transplant setting, and metabolic surgery
- Hepatobiliary and pancreatic (open and laparoscopic) surgery, surgery of the biliary tract, surgical use of the intraoperative ultrasound
