Performed hundreds of Laparoscopic and Open surgeries ranging from simple procedures to complex Gastro-intestinal surgery. Initiated a wide variety of Laparoscopic Upper GI (Oesophagus, Stomach & Small Bowel), Colo Rectal, Hepato Biliary and Hernia surgery apart from Bariatric operations.

One-year fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery at the Department of Minimal Access Surgery, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, India. This department, then under the able leadership of Dr Pradeep.K. Chowbey, Padmashri, was well recognized in Asia Pacific region for its high volume and advanced laparoscopic work.
It was the first centre in India to be recognized by National Board of Examination for Postdoctoral Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery.
About 220 – 250 basic and advanced laparoscopic procedures were done every month - about 2500 a year.

More than 100 surgeons had attended the 'Basic laparoscopic training' course during my stay.
